At SHAMROCK Health and Safety of all the members and workers is of prime concern and a Standard Operating Procedure is followed. Care is taken for all matters related to toxicity of chemicals, hazardous reaction, manual handling of materials, etc. Equipments are designed as per the safety norms and standards, and maintenance program is undertaken to prevent possible failures of equipments.

Over and above this, the employees are well trained at different levels and made to understand all the safety concerns and instructions are documented and followed. Use of personal protective equipment is mandatory and the plants are well equipped to cope with any eventuality and also have an effective fire fighting system.

Environmental care, Air Emissions

During the production, any gaseous emissions that are generated are carefully treated by scrubbers and thereafter given treatment by washing. No contaminated air, emission or any volatile organic impurities are dispersed into the atmosphere.

Waste Water treatment Plant

We have a very well equipped modern Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) with Reverse Osmosis technology designed to treat the Effluents generated during the production. After giving the primary and secondary treatment, there is neutralization , Flocculation and sludge is recovered from the bottom and filtered. The cake is later disposed and clear water is obtained after the treatment. Incinerator is equipped to treat contaminated sludges and over waste solvents generated during the production. We ensure zero discharge.
